Exciting News: An Artistic Adventure

I am excited to share with you that I am heading off to Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia to be the Member-in-Residence at ARTSPLACE from January 20-Februrary 17, 2024. This will be my first residency experience and while there I will be focused on making new work for an upcoming solo show “Fabric of Community” at the Ice House Gallery in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia July/August 2024. Also, during my stay I will be offering a workshop “Creating Joy” on January 27 at ARTSPLACE. https://www.arcac.ca/

I will be engaging with the local community to co-create a number of painted silk panels that will be included in the show. As I pack up my studio, I am looking forward to conversations with the rich artistic community in the area, and I expect to learn a lot.
