VIEW FROM PARTRIDGE ISLAND (Silk Wall Hanging)

There is a fabulous hike up Partridge Island off the Ottawa House beach, near Parrsboro Nova Scotia. The steep climb is worth the effort for the view.

Hand painted on 100% silk – steam set on 19.5 momme Charmeuse silk with hand-rolled hem. 

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cool water with very mild detergent for silk or wool. Gently roll in a towel and dry iron on silk or delicate setting while damp on reverse side to preserve the iridescent dye Do not hang in direct sun. Painting can be framed or hung using a magnetic wooden poster hanger.
