SUMMARY:The Feel of Water: An interactive Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The Feel of Water”\, explores our relationship to both the physical and symbolic properties of water. The exhibit invites the viewer to consider the beauty\, power\, fragility\, and rhythm of water. Using silk and paper\, I will showcase interactive installations and soft sculptures. Visitors to Chester Art Centre can immerse themselves in large-scale silk hangings and contribute their thoughts about water on an interactive wall piece\, fostering a collective response.\nThe exhibit will also invite the viewer to consider how water\, as both a fragile and a powerful force is impacted by time\, tide\, wind\, and climate. The Feel of Water encourages us to understand how water connects us through the cycles and currents of life and asks us to imagine how our personal and shared stories and identities are shaped by water.\nOPENING: JULY 9\, 2026 5-7 pm\n\n\na glimpse into the studio
